We are excited to announce that our vacancies for our Head Boy, Head Girl and Gomer Reps have been filled. Pictured below are our Autumn Term Gomer Reps and our Head Boy and Head Girl.

This is a new initiative to provide our eldest children with   greater opportunities for responsibility. Many children in Y6 completed an application form, outlining the skills they have for the different roles and why they felt that they are right for the posts. Due to the large response from children applying to be a Gomer Rep, the children will each be given a term to represent their house. The position of Heads of School or a Gomer Rep is a very important position because the children will have many responsibilities including:

  • Meeting with visitors to the school
  • Liaising with the Head Boy, Head Girl and other  Gomer Reps
  • Listening to the other children in the school and sharing their thoughts
  • Being an ambassador for your house at events such as Sports Day
  • Meeting with the Head Teacher to discuss key issues

The staff read all the applications and following careful consideration appointed the following children:
Head Boy:    Edward Smyth     Head Girl:     Lillie-Mai Ward
Blue Gomer Reps:
Cassidy Clark, William Rosen
Green Gomer Reps:
Emily Ansell, Aaron Middleton, Freya Jones, Allana Neal, Christina Brenton-Sparrow
