Today, Y4 enjoyed a fun and informative visit to Fishbourne Roman Palace. Accompanied by teachers and parent-helpers, 60 children investigated the museum, north wing and Roman gardens. In addition to these spectacles, our pupils watched a documentary about the palace in the cinema room and participated in workshops. As the photos prove, the workshops were great fun! Dressed in tunics, our Year Four children created mosaics, worked in the kitchen, used wax tablets, played Roman board games and built bridges. Albie and Sabrina even had the chance to dress as Roman royalty. We’re already looking forward to our next school trip…
