The sporting achievements of Gomer pupils have continued to add trophies to the cabinet over recent days.
Firstly, on a hot and long afternoon, the girls’ football team were victorious in a tournament held at Grange Junior School. They were worthy winners in a nail-biting final, where they beat Grange Junior 1-0.
Sticking with the girls, the football team had an emphatic 10-0 win over Siskin Junior on Wednesday afternoon. All girls played brilliantly and player of the match went to Ruby who also scored her first goal! Thurs 25 June is the next game-a top of the table clash at home to Grange!
And finally, another sweltering days cricket at Privett Park on Monday 15 June saw the mixed Year 6 cricket team emerge as winners of the cluster tournament. This means we now have teams going to the Hampshire finals at the Ageas Bowl on 29 and 30 June!
