The Drama Club completed their third performance of Gomer’s version of The Jungle Book with a lively and well received performance this afternoon. Parents/carers enjoyed seeing pupils and staff in a range of costumes and make-up; acting, singing and dancing to well known tunes. At the end of the performance our yearly Drama Award for ‘most promising’ actor was presented to Rosie H.
Many of our children who attend peripatetic music lessons showcased some of their learning this evening. Hosted and accompanied by Mrs Harris and Mr Potter, the audience of proud parents/carers were treated to solos on the drums, piano and guitar. It takes a lot of confidence to perform to an audience and the children did very well. Mrs Harris and Mr Potter played two pieces superbly too. Go Gomer!
