Hampshire County Council is consulting on proposals for developing a new Family Support Service to meet the needs of vulnerable families with children aged 0-19 years (extending to age 25 if the young person has learning difficulties or a disability).  If agreed, the new service would bring together the work of early help hubs, children’s centre services and youth support
services into a single, integrated service that would align with the Supporting (Troubled) Families Programme.

The proposals and online consultation questionnaire can be found at www.hants.gov.uk/childrens-services-consultation.

The responses will inform the decision to be made in July, by Councillor Keith Mans, Executive Lead Member for Children’s Services.  The County Council is keen to hear from as many people as possible.

Your help will be much appreciated.
