The Beach Club have been busy this term. Following a recent visit to The Diving Museum in Stokes Bay children accessed exhibits including equipment used by James Bond, modern and historical recreational diving equipment, deep saturation diving equipment and a comprehensive collection of Royal Navy equipment. The children were inspired by the new exhibition of a very old diving helmet that they set about making their own when they returned to school.

Some of the children were invited to attend The Historical Diving Society’s AGM last night. Mrs Toone and Mrs Mawby were very impressed with how eloquently the children spoke about what they are learning about and why. With clear links to our STEM curriculum, Gomer and The GFM are delighted to have established such a lovely relationship with our friends at the museum.
