The JRSO’s welcomed pupils to school this morning. They rewarded those that walked, scooted, cycled or used our park and stride (Seahorse Pub) with a sticker.  As a school we have risen to the WOW challenge with approx 90% of our pupils walking, cycling or scooting to school this month. Mrs Bottriell has had to order more badges due to the majority of the community walking, cycling or scooting to school.
Additionally, the JRSO’s lead our whole class assembly today, informing us about the importance of ‘Being Bright to Be Seen’. They used the time to launch our ‘Be Bright Be Seen Day’ which is scheduled for Friday 22 November. One of our JRSOs attended the Hampshire Conference on Monday and picked up lots of ideas for us to further develop how we help the community stay safe and to use sustainable forms of travel. You can read more about this on or JRSO page on the website. Go Gomer!
