In 2017 and 2019 we wore odd socks and in 2018 Year 6 showcased a dance. Today, the children will be united in their Bubbles through The Big Assembly. This time of reflection, in support of anti-bullying will see the children discussing the importance of standing up against bullying. This year, more than ever, we’ve witnessed the positive power that society can have when coming together to tackle a common challenge. Coming together for anti-bullying is no different. Bullying has a long lasting effect on those who experience and witness it. Bullying is not tolerated at Gomer Junior School. We believe bullying to be a premeditated and repeated act to hurt someone either physically or mentally. From parents, carers and teachers, to children and young people, we all have a part to play in coming together to make a difference. Together, we’re united against bullying.
