WOW – we live streamed our annual nativity this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our nativity is a special part of the Gomer festivities and we were determined to make it work this year – despite our Bubble restrictions. The children performed superbly and the tech worked! The school felt incredibly festive this afternoon. It was lovely to see the children watching the nativity in their classrooms being streamed live from the hall. The bonus of this afternoon is enabling family members, who do not live locally, to watch the performance also. One grandparent, living in Scotland emailed to say:

‘I have just spent the last 30 minutes watching Team Gomer give a wonderful live stream of the Christmas Story and wanted to  congratulate you all. This past year has not been an easy time for any of us but you have all risen to the challenge and tried to make things as normal as possible for the children. I would like to thank you for giving my husband and I the opportunity to watch our grandchild perform.’

We have been delighted to read so many positive messages about the nativity on the closed parent/carer FaceBook page. Thank you also for your e mails of appreciation. There has been considerable work behind the scenes before today. Seeing and hearing the children perform today and reading the lovely feedback has made us all very happy – thank you. Go Gomer!
