For one day, every two years, we replace ‘Gomer Blue’ with an array of red outfits to raise money from Comic Relief. We are delighted to have raised £201.10 today. A special shout out to Caleb in Y5 who generously donated £10 of his birthday money. Red Nose Day donations help tackle important issues including homelessness, hunger, domestic abuse and mental health stigma, all of which have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Amazing organisations across the UK and around the world are supported. The whole school paraded around the site, in their Bubbles at the start of the day today to show-off their red outfits. We had a fun assembly this afternoon which saw classes participate in a ‘red’ quiz and featured the teachers completing a surprise assault course which they loved – as did the children!
