Gomer rocked on Tuesday afternoon with its live streaming of the nativity based on Nativity the film. Every year group sang live which helped to tell the story of the nativity and give every child the opportunity to perform. Wrapped around the live performances were some prerecorded sketches and dances that told the story of Mary and Joseph and the birth of Jesus. The school grounds were used and added to the storytelling. The children looked wonderfully festive in their jumpers and headdresses and were watched by 191 families yesterday afternoon. We learned from last year that watching the nativity online enables families from near and far to watch it, making it an incredibly inclusive and accessible event.
