Year 5 enjoyed a fabulous trip to Chichester Festival Theatre where we were treated to a thrilling performance of Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’. The visit was part of our topic this past half term ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ We have been learning about different forms of entertainment, including: film, television, radio and of course the theatre. The Witches is a fantastic example of a story written for a book and adapted for both film and theatre audiences. This youth production stayed loyal to the story and made creative use of puppetry!
