Ahead of the Gosport in Bloom judges visiting us tomorrow, the school wanted to say a mighty big THANK YOU to our Gomer Growers for their sterling work. The children have been led by Mrs Carré who is very creative and always seeking new ideas to improve our grounds. The new ornamental garden at the front of school, HMS Gomer, looks so very pretty – this is our most recent project.

The Olympic Meadow, Woodland Trail, HT garden and allotment continue to flourish. It is great to see that our projects are sustainable, growing and blooming year on year. The flourishing allotment is so tasty we have been eating it. We can’t wait to start growing in our new allotment. Regardless of what the judges say tomorrow, we are rightly proud of how we have worked together to achieve lots.

Thank you also to the parents/carers who have helped us during our Groundforce Days and to the Gomer Pupil Site Team for sweeping, tidying and litter picking. Great community spirit – Go Gomer.
