Gomer started their quest for netball success on a windy and wet Wednesday afternoon last week at Brune Park. A squad of 8, of which many players were making debuts, rotated positions as required in the ‘High Five’ version of the game. The first match was closely contested over the four quarters, with Gomer running out 2-0 winners over Alverstoke. The second game, against Elson A was again close, with Gomer edging a tense match 2-1. Player of the matches went to Campbell for excellent all round play. The children are looking forward to their practise this evening. Go Gomer!
