Today, 151 ‘special ladies’ joined us for lunch. This annual event follows on from Mothering Sunday and is an opportunity for the children to invite a ‘special lady’ to lunch. The weather was glorious so many chose to eat outside. With thanks to our Cook, Sam, and her team for catering so many additional meals. Many of our ‘special ladies’ commented upon the super atmosphere in school during the lunch break. With almost 400 people to organise, Team Gomer work exceptionally hard to manage the event. An especially big THANK YOU to Mrs Kidd who makes the event look seamless. We have not forgotten the ‘special men’ in our children’s lives. We will be welcoming them into school on Friday 16 June for lunch and play.
