On Wednesday 3 May the Gomer Brass players took part in a concert at Bay House School. This was a new venture and gave the musicians the chance to perform as part of a large ensemble. Pupils from Alverstoke Junior and Lee on Solent Junior joined Gomer and Bay House brass players for an intense workshop session during the afternoon.

In the evening there was a performance to parents and carers. The concert was a joy to behold as the young musicians played their parts with skill, enthusiasm and gusto. It was a moment to be proud of and will hopefully inspire the players to continue playing and possibly to branch out into other ensembles.

Well done to you all – we are very proud of you.
