On Wednesday 7 June, the majority of our Y6 fraternity, many Y5 pupils and one Y4 pupil participated in an inter-school Cricket tournament at The Gosport Borough Cricket Club. The girls, with limited experience, applied themselves to a range of games and did so with considerable resilience and an eagerness to work well as a team. Whilst there the girls met Charlotte Edwards (pictured below with our girls)  who is the England Ladies Cricket Captain. We were delighted our children met a super sporting role model and were thrilled that the cricket star signed one of our bats – this has proudly been displayed in our trophy cabinet.
