What is the Parent Partnership?
Our Parent Partnership is a body which:

  • gives parents/carers a voice and enables them to contribute to school decision making
enables parents/carers to meet, share ideas and feed back to the school
  • helps develop a partnership between parents/carers and school
  • talks to parents/carers and advises the Local Governing Body of parents’/carers views, when appropriate and if time permitting

When does the Parent Partnership meet?
The Gomer Junior Parent Partnership was established in September 2014 and typically meets with Mrs Mulhall on Friday, once a half term. Our next meeting is on Friday of this week.  The dates for the meeting are listed on the school electronic calendar which features on this website. Each meeting has a clear agenda. If you have items you would like to be discussed at one of the meetings, please share this with Mrs Mulhall or speak to one of the Parent Partnership representatives.
Which Parent / Carers are Representatives?
The Parent Partnership has been kept deliberately small so that matters can be taken to a ’round table’ discussion. In September of each new academic year, Mrs Mulhall invites any parent/carer to represent their child’s tear group. The time given by the Parent Partnership is greatly appreciated by the school and views and opinions do help to inform decision making.
