We love Stokes Bay so it was great to see lots of the Gomer Junior community at the bay on Saturday morning, helping with the Solent Beach Clean which was organised by the Friends of Stokes Bay. May set to work litter picking on the beach and surrounding grassy areas. We were pleasantly surprised that we did not find too much but we were disappointed by some of the bigger finds; lorry tyres and charity collecting bags that have missed their delivery.
With thanks to all in our community who give their help throughout the year to keep Stokes Bay clean. As a beach school we visit regularly within our curriculum time.
