Our first ‘Lunch Club’ at Norhtcott House was a huge success on Wednesday. Year 6 were amazingly well behaved and superb ambassadors of Gomer Junior School. The group of Year 6 volunteers walked to Northcott House and ate their lunch with the residents. It was heart-warming to see how engaged in conversation they were with the residents and they made us very proud with the way they conducted themselves. The children said they had enjoyed getting to meet new people and in Albert’s words, “It was great to have a chill-out and chat with them!”
