Our awards:

Gosport in Bloom 2023 Innovative Award for the QR codes to identify our plants (we were one of only two schools who were awarded this).

Gold: Best Decorative Garden, Best Edible Garden, Sensory Garden and Best Wildlife Garden

Silver: Butterfly and Bee Garden, Best Bug Hotel and Best Coronation Garden

Congratulations also to other local schools who won awards including our family junior school, Rowner, who also won gold and silver awards. With thanks to the Gomer Growers, who garden all year and in all weathers – some of whom attended the special ceremony at Gosport Town Hall to pick up their awards. They were awesome Gomer Ambassadors and were presented with awards by former TV presenter Fred Dinenage.

A huge thank you goes to Mrs Carré, who gives considerable time to over-see the Gomer Growers and our site, the Gomer Growers, GFM Estates and to all of the community who tend to the flowers and habitats and take part in our outdoor learning and Groundforce days. Go Gomer!
