We were delighted to see so many girls playing football, at lunchtime, with Mrs Lethbridge and Mr Merrifield today. Today, girls, all around the country, have been given an opportunity to play football – it was intended to be the biggest EVER football session with one simple message – #LetGirlsPlay. We have always enjoyed football at Gomer and we are delighted to have launched a Football Club for girls this term. For the first time we are delighted to have enough girls who want to play. Judging by those who took part today, we should be set to have a time for years ahead. Go Gomer! Go girls – and on International Won’s Day too.
