Today, our staff (big Team Gomer) participated in an INSET day with their colleagues from King’s Academy Rowner – a valuable opportunity for us to come together, learn, and grow as a team. These days are essential for ensuring that we provide the best possible education and support for our children. Our focus today was on safeguarding, reading, teaching and learning and monitoring, key areas that help us maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all. Colleagues were delighted to collaborate and share ideas, strengthening our commitment to delivering excellent education. We were also delighted to have our Trust CEO, Mr Nick Cross, address both Team Gomer and Team Rowner, inspiring us as we prepare for the year ahead.
We are now eagerly looking forward to welcoming our new Year 3 students tomorrow from 8:40 am. It’s going to be an exciting day, and we can’t wait to see all the new faces!
Additionally, our teachers of Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 learners are really looking forward to meeting their children and parents/carers at the ‘Meet the Teacher’ event, which will be held by appointment in the School Hall. It’s a great chance to connect and start building those important relationships for the year ahead.
See you all soon!
