Our Anti-Bullying Week started on Monday. The important week raises awareness about bullying and highlights ways we can make our school a welcoming place for everyone. This year, the theme is ‘Choose Respect’—encouraging us all to show kindness and appreciation towards others and ourselves.
What Does Respect Mean?
Respect is at the heart of how we treat each other every day. Throughout the week, our students will be exploring what respect looks like, both in and out of the classroom. We’ll be discussing ways to speak kindly, understand others’ feelings, value different viewpoints, and show respect online.
Odd Socks Day – Express Your Uniqueness!
As part of Anti-Bullying Week, we invited all students to wear odd socks to celebrate the wonderful uniqueness in each of us. Odd Socks Day reminds us that we are all different, and those differences make our school vibrant and exciting. Students designed their own pairs of odd socks, showing off their ‘wonderfulness ‘ with creativity and pride.
How Respect Helps Stop Bullying
By choosing respect, we show that bullying has no place in our school. Respectful interactions help everyone feel valued and safe, creating an environment where kindness can flourish. We encourage students to speak out against bullying behaviours and always seek support from trusted adults if they see or experience bullying.
