Gomer is once again taking part in the St. Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival, a highlight of our Advent calendar. This wonderful community event showcases the creativity and spirit of local schools, groups, and organisations and we are proud to contribute with a tree that reflects our school’s values and curriculum. Our beautifully decorated tree is adorned with handmade crafts created by our talented children. Drawing inspiration from our new International Dimension curriculum, the decorations celebrate our core values of hope, faith, and courage, with heartfelt messages for our global neighbours. Completing the display are stunning 3D angels, as if voices of angels watching over the festive scene. Of course, no Gomer tree would be complete without our signature Gomer blue lights, which add a magical glow to this already dazzling display. The Christmas Tree Festival runs from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th December, and we encourage everyone to visit the church to admire the incredible creativity on show. Be sure to stop by on Sunday at midday, when our choir will perform and bring even more festive cheer to the event. Thank you to all the children who worked so hard to decorate our tree and to everyone who made this event possible. St. Mary’s Church looks beautiful and is well worth a visit. We hope to see you there!
