We’re thrilled to announce the return of Gomer Growers! After a brief pause last term (other than our fantastic Groundforce Day), this much-loved part of our curriculum is back in action. Gomer Growers has been a long-established and award-winning programme, recognised at Gosport in Bloom for our beautiful grounds and commitment to outdoor learning. While we aim to provide gardening and outdoor opportunities for all children, Gomer Growers sessions are by invitation and are led by our horticulture expert Mrs Carre, offered to children who will benefit the most from this enriching experience. Our gardening efforts are not just about growing and eating delicious produce or enjoying our stunning grounds; they’re also a key part of our Sustainability Strategy. From using upcycled materials in our allotment to considering every action’s impact on the environment, we are dedicated to looking after our planet. You can read more about our strategy here. A big thank you to the entire community for supporting us and helping our grounds look fabulous all year round. We can’t wait to see Gomer Growers back out there, making a difference, and look forward to welcoming everyone to our next Groundforce Day. If you have received one, don’t forget to return your Google Form. Go Gomer!
