We are thrilled to share the news of King’s Academy Gomer’s latest Ofsted report, which recognises the school’s exceptional achievements and the wonderful spirit of its community. This is a celebration not only of our incredible pupils and dedicated staff, but also of the unwavering support from our fantastic parents and carers.

Throughout the inspection, our children shone as superb ambassadors, speaking with honesty, pride, and enthusiasm about their school; something the inspectors appreciated. It was particularly moving for the Senior Leadership Team to hear just how strongly parents’ voices echoed the same positivity and belief in what we do every day.

The report praises the way pupils ‘are proud of their school and are keen to talk about it,’ and highlights that ‘staff have high expectations and work hard to meet the needs of all pupils.’ These powerful affirmations reflect exactly what makes King’s Academy Gomer such a special place to be.

To mark the moment, we created a very special photo, spelling out the words Good and Outstanding using every single person in our Gomer community. Captured by drone, this image is a beautiful symbol of the unity, teamwork, and shared success that brought us to this point.
