What better way to round off SATs week than with a freshly cooked bacon roll, lovingly prepared by the wonderful Maria. This morning, the smell of sizzling bacon filled the air as Maria came in early to serve up a special breakfast treat for our brilliant Year 6 learners. A huge thank you to Maria – the children were thrilled and very grateful!
Throughout the week, Year 6 pupils were fuelled each morning with a hearty breakfast to help them start the day with confidence and calm. Whether it was toast, pancakes, fruit or yoghurt, our SATs Breakfast Club had something for everyone – and it made a real difference.
Here’s some of our shopping list, giving you a flavour of just how well our learners ate over the four days:
SATs Week Shopping List
- 24 loaves of bread (for never-ending toast)
- 100 crumpets
- 98 pancakes
- 63 croissants
- 12 bunches of bananas
- 7 tubs of grapes
- 72 pots of yoghurt
- 4 litres of squash
Every single child gave their absolute best in the tests and showed real determination, resilience, and pride. We could not be prouder of our Year 6 team – they embodied the Gomer spirit.
Go Gomer!
