Eight lucky Year 5 pupils were invited to take part in a fantastic Archery and Watersports session, organised by the Sports Games Officer (SGO) team , and what an experience it was!
The SGO programme is designed to encourage physical activity in new areas, develop sporting skills, and promote teamwork and confidence in young people. We are incredibly fortunate to have access to such brilliant opportunities right here in our local area, and this session at GoSport was a great example of just that.
Despite the wet weather, spirits remained high. Our pupils embraced the challenge, learning new skills in archery and taking to the water with enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they pushed themselves to try something new – and most importantly, they had a lot of fun along the way.
A big thank you to the SGO team and GoSport for such a memorable experience!
