Year 4 have been embracing their Paralympics learning in PE with great enthusiasm. Last week, the children were set an exciting challenge: to design their very own inclusive game. Recently, they put their creations to the test. Each group thought carefully about how to ensure everyone could join in, whether the activities were fun and active, and if the rules were clear and fair. It was wonderful to see them collaborating so thoughtfully, selecting equipment, considering different needs and abilities, and developing games that truly welcomed all players.

Their imaginative ideas will now be entered into the Everyone Can Play Paralympics competition, where they have the chance to win a visit from a GB Paralympian. Watch this space. Year 4 may soon be welcoming an inspiring sporting hero to school!
