Yey – so far, on Elf Day, we have raised £182 through in-school donations and our Just Giving Page for the – see here. Thank you. Our school was a festive wonderland as we celebrated Elf Day, raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, an incredible charity dedicated to supporting those living with dementia and funding research to end this devastating condition. The children not only looked fabulous in their cheerful elf outfits, but they also had the opportunity to learn about Alzheimer’s disease in a child-friendly way. Through engaging activities and discussions, they discovered the science behind dementia and how their contributions would help support vital research and services. It was heartening to see how much they understood the importance of kindness and community. Highlights of the day included the much-anticipated Elf Parade, where the children proudly showcased their outfits, and a fun-packed assembly filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of festive cheer! Elf Day was a fantastic way to wrap up the term, combining festive fun with meaningful learning. We’re proud of our wonderful school community for coming together to support such an important cause. Wishing all our families a safe, enjoyable holiday season filled with love, laughter, and happiness. See you in the New Year!
