Today, Mrs Mulhall and Mrs Thurston, our Computing Leader, led a very important Online Safety Assembly ahead of Online Safety Day tomorrow. The children showed a great understanding of the importance of staying safe online and discussed key ways to protect themselves in the digital world. A major focus of the assembly was online scams – how both adults and children can be tricked online and the steps we can take to stay safe. From phishing emails to fake websites and online messages, the children learned how scammers try to gain personal information and how to spot the warning signs. Most importantly, we reinforced the need to talk to a trusted adult if something doesn’t seem right. Online safety is an essential part of modern life, and we will continue our commitment to teaching children how to navigate the internet safely. A huge well done to all our pupils for their fantastic engagement and awareness in today’s assembly!
