Year 3 Parent

I have been amazed at the progress my son has made this academic year, since joining Gomer Juniors. His passion for learning new things, including his violin have really developed a greater real love for learning, in particular for reading! He feels confident in the stretch and challenge of being in year 3 but is totally supported in every step in building his resilience and skill for taking the next! I am delighted we chose Gomer Junior school for our son to continue his exciting learning journey.

Year 3 Parent

My son joined Gomer Junior School in September and since then has not been more positive about his learning. Last week I was invited in to see his exercise books and he was proud to explain that he was on his third maths book and second English one. The schools online homework has allowed us to work with him, researching topics together and supporting his learning. This weekend he came home wanting to continue work on his slideshow about the Egyptians, applying his IT skills and able to access the work he had started at home. The school are incredibly supportive and have identified both his strengths and weaknesses, and have been supporting him to grow.

Year 5 Parent

My children never fail to be inspired by the range and rigour of the Gomer curriculum.  They come up happy, motivated and engaged every day.  I am proud to send my children to Gomer Junior School.

Year 3 Parent

Since being at Gomer Junior, our daughter has grown in confidence and character. Her teachers take time to focus on her individual needs; the challenges she faces are excellent and she’s always improving at such a pace! Each week there seems to be something fab going on! Their Engineering ethos is a great – their motivating STEM opportunities are a unique chance for Gomer pupils to understand the really useful skills that they’ll need to be successful in life-such a great idea. Gomer is not the closest school to us in our catchment area, but I’m so glad we chose it over others.

Year 3 Pupil

Our forest, outdoor gym and STEM lessons (with lots of lego) make our school so cool to be at! We are even allowed to go into our woods at break (if we’ve bought our wellies). My teachers are the nicest ones I’ve ever had – even the ones in other year groups from mine. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else and can’t wait for my little sister to get up here too, so she can do all that we do!
