We are proud to share that our school’s attendance continues to place us in the top 10% of all FFT schools nationally. FFT is one of the country’s leading education data organisations, working with thousands of schools across the UK. Being recognised in the top 10% reflects the shared commitment of our children, families, and staff team.

Excellent attendance matters because every day in school counts. Learning is carefully sequenced, friendships are strengthened through regular routines, and children gain confidence by being part of the school community each day. High attendance also helps children feel connected, secure, and ready to thrive both academically and socially.

Importantly, this recognition is not about perfection or pressuring families when children are genuinely unwell. We fully understand that illnesses happen, and children should recover properly when needed. Instead, this achievement reflects a strong culture where education is valued, routines are prioritised, and school and families work together positively in the best interests of children.

We are especially proud because maintaining strong attendance is a team effort. Parents and carers make enormous commitments each day: from managing busy mornings to supporting anxious children, juggling work commitments, appointments, illnesses, and family life. We recognise and appreciate that partnership enormously.

At our school, attendance is not viewed as a number or statistic. It represents children accessing opportunities: exciting lessons, sport, music, trips, clubs, friendships, assemblies, performances, leadership opportunities, and the many moments that make primary school special.

Thank you to our whole school community for helping create a culture where children are present, included, and able to flourish. We are very proud of what we continue to achieve together.
