What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Governor you will:

  • Inspire Vision: Contribute to shaping the strategic direction, ethos and long-term ambitions that define our academy identity and purpose.
  • Drive Standards: Provide strategic challenge and support to academy leaders to ensure high expectations, strong outcomes and continuous improvement for all pupils.
  • Guardian of Safety: Ensure strong governance and oversight of safeguarding, wellbeing and culture so that effective systems are in place to protect and support all members of the school community.
  • Champion Sustainability: Provide strategic leadership in embedding the Trust’s sustainability ambitions, ensuring environmental responsibility is reflected in long-term planning and decision-making.
  • Connect: Act as a strategic link between the Trust, academy, families and the wider community, strengthening partnerships that support the academy’s vision and success.
