We were delighted to welcome our Chair of Governors, Mr Nick Almond, to school this morning. At King’s Academy Gomer, we are fortunate to be supported by a strong and committed governing body, who play an active role in our school community.

During his visit, Nick spent valuable time with school leaders, discussing our ongoing school improvement priorities and seeing first-hand the impact of our work. He also took the opportunity to listen to children read and engage in meaningful conversations with pupils about their experiences at school. Lots of the children were keen to talk to Nick at breaktime.

Nick thoroughly enjoyed his visit, particularly the chance to get to know more of our children and hear their perspectives on school life. His support and involvement help to ensure that we continue to provide the very best education for our pupils.

We are grateful for the time and dedication of our governing body and look forward to welcoming Nick back to school again soon.
