On Friday, our whole school came together for a Harvest Celebration. This is a special time to give thanks for all that we have and to think about those who help and support us when we are in need.

Harvest is a symbolic occasion, reminding us to be grateful for the food we eat, the people who grow and prepare it, and the importance of sharing with others. It was wonderful to see the children who take part in choir and vocal lessons perform so beautifully, with many proud parents and carers joining us in song. We even sang a cheerful ‘Happy Birthday’ to one of the dads.

We were delighted to welcome the Rev. Andy from St Mary’s Church, Alverstoke, who spoke about the meaning of Harvest, where our food comes from, and the importance of giving thanks. Our thoughtful Gomer Reps helped pack up the car with all the generous donations from our families, and the Rev. Andy kindly delivered the gifts to a local food bank.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed. Your kindness and community spirit reflect the heart of our school.
