You may remember that, before Christmas, some of our children entered the Christmas Card Competition run by our local MP, Dame Caroline Dinenage. Although this update is a little delayed, we were delighted to hear right at the end of last term that Isabelle C was selected as a runner-up in the competition. What a fantastic achievement!

Isabelle received a special prize bundle including:

• a Christmas card
• a certificate
• and, of course, a well-deserved chocolate bar

Even more excitingly, Isabelle’s design appeared on the back of Dame Caroline’s official Christmas card, which shared festive Christmas and New Year wishes. Mrs Mulhall was thrilled to receive one of these cards herself and to see Isabelle’s artwork featured so proudly.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to every child who entered the competition. The standard of entries was incredibly high, and we were so impressed by the creativity, effort and festive spirit shown by all involved.
