Year 4 have been learning how to write non-chronological reports, and this week they thoroughly enjoyed spending time exploring a wonderful range of non-fiction reference books from our lovely school library. The excitement was clear to hear:

“Wow – these books are amazing!”
“They have beautiful pictures in!”

As they explored the texts, children were confidently discussing a wide range of fascinating topics, including the process of photosynthesis, features of the solar system, and interesting facts about different animal species and that was just the beginning!

It was a real pleasure for the adults to watch the children so engaged, curious, and enthusiastic, showing a genuine love of reading and learning. Moments like these truly bring our curriculum to life.
