Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of teamwork and problem-solving. During their PE sessions, pupils are taking part in a series of team challenges designed to build communication, cooperation and resilience. Today’s challenge was to cross the swamp safely. The children were given a selection of items to help them cross the “swamp” without getting eaten by the swamp monster. Working in teams, pupils had to think carefully about the rules for using each item while also making sure they helped every member of their group cross safely. Success depended on clear communication, listening to one another and working together as a team. It was wonderful to hear the thoughtful discussions taking place and to see the enthusiasm and determination from everyone involved. The laughter, problem-solving and teamwork on display showed just how much the children enjoyed the challenge.
