This week, our children have been doing an incredible job taking part in the Big Walk and Wheel challenge, recording their journeys on Travel Tracker. At the moment, we are sitting in an amazing 7th place out of 1,071 … what an achievement! With just 3 days to go, this is our moment to push even further. Every journey counts, so we’re encouraging all of our children and families to make that extra effort to walk, wheel, scoot or cycle to school wherever possible. And, if you need to drive to school part way, please use our Park and Stride site so you can finish your journey on foot.

A huge congratulations as well to our feeder school, Gomer Infant School, who are currently in 1st place and how amazing that every single child in the school has walked, scooted or cycled everyday this week. What an incredible achievement!

Now it’s over to us… Let’s Go Gomer! Can we break into the top 3 before the end of the week? We think we can do it. Every step, pedal and wheel makes a difference. Let’s finish strong.
