On Monday, we were delighted to welcome the Open the Book team from St. Mary’s Church into school. They shared the much-loved story of Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat in a lively and engaging way.

The story follows Joseph, whose journey is full of ups and downs, from being treated unfairly by his brothers to showing resilience, forgiveness and strength of character. While rooted in a religious tradition, the message is one that resonates with everyone: even when life feels difficult or unfair, how we respond matters. Showing kindness, perseverance and the ability to forgive others are powerful qualities that help us grow and build positive relationships.

A special well done must go to our Year 3 children, who helped bring the story to life through their acting. They showed great confidence, enthusiasm and teamwork, and were brilliant ambassadors for our school.

We are very grateful to the Open the Book team for continuing to support our assemblies in such an engaging and meaningful way.
