At our school, we know that every day really does matter. Being in school each day helps children build strong routines, keep up with their learning, and feel confident and connected with their friends and teachers. We are incredibly proud of our attendance. It remains consistently strong, placing us within the top 10% of schools nationally for attendance and this has been the case for at least the past two years. This is a real achievement and reflects the commitment of our pupils, families, and staff.

Each week, we celebrate attendance in our whole-school assembly by recognising the top three attending classes. As a special reward, one of our top-attending classes recently enjoyed an attendance treat. A game of giant Twister! There was lots of laughter, teamwork, and some very impressive balancing skills on display.

We also understand that there are times when children are genuinely unwell and need to be at home, or when unexpected circumstances arise.
