This morning, we were delighted to welcome Dame Kate Dethridge, Regional Director for the South East at the Department for Education. In her role, Dame Kate oversees work across schools, SEND and children’s services, supporting better outcomes for young people.

Our new Head Boy and Head Girl gave a brilliant tour of the school with Mrs Digby. Dame Kate met George the dog in the library, attended a School Council Meeting, chatted with our librarians, and enjoyed seeing learning in action across classrooms and outdoor spaces. She also spent time with key stakeholders and joined Mrs Mulhall and our CEO, Mr Cross, for lunch.

The visit was a success, showing how vibrant, welcoming and proud of learning our academy is.
