We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the PTA Gomer Community Fireworks Display this evening. A huge thank you to everyone who has already bought tickets in support of the Gomer schools. Your generosity helps make events like this possible, and we can not wait to enjoy a spectacular evening together.
As we celebrate, we’re also mindful of our furry friends in the local community. Fireworks can be unsettling for pets, so we kindly ask residents to keep them indoors during the display to help them feel safe and calm. If you’re able, please also let your neighbours know, so they can do the same.
Many of our nearby residents will have received a flyer through the door as a gentle reminder, and the RSPCA has shared some useful guidance for keeping animals comfortable during fireworks. You can find it here.
For those attending, please note the following reminders to help keep everyone safe and ensure an enjoyable evening for all:
- No sparklers are permitted on site.
- Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the school grounds.
- A range of snacks and both hot and cold drinks will be available to purchase.
- Reusable cups and carry mugs are very welcome — a simple way to help us reduce waste.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping make this a safe, sustainable, and joyful event for everyone in our community. We look forward to seeing you tonight.
