Our Year 3 children were lucky to take part in Scooter Skills workshops this week, led by Bike It John from the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust. The sessions were great fun, but they also taught the children important lifelong skills. As well as developing confidence and control on their scooters, pupils learned how to ride safely, be aware of their surroundings and make sensible decisions when travelling. Learning these skills at a young age helps children stay active, enjoy being outdoors and develop safe habits that will benefit them for years to come. A huge thank you to Bike It John and the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust for delivering such engaging and valuable workshops. Our Year 3 pupils had a fantastic time!
