What an incredible way to end your time at KA Gomer! After working so hard and showing such resilience during your SATs, you certainly deserved the exciting weeks that followed. From the moment you returned, the celebrations began with an unforgettable residential at Tile Barn Outdoor Centre, where you challenged yourselves, supported one another and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Back at school, there was no time to slow down. Alongside transition activities and plenty of continued learning, you threw yourselves into rehearsals for your Leavers’ Assembly. It was a truly fabulous celebration of your time at KA Gomer, full of laughter, reflection and a few tears, leaving families and staff immensely proud.

The fun didn’t stop there! You also enjoyed GFest, our very own on-site festival, complete with exciting activities and a spectacular Colour Run. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate together and enjoy one last adventure as a year group.

Your final day was a fitting end to seven wonderful years. There was time to sign shirts and memory books, sharing messages and laughs with friends before one final, unforgettable moment. As you left the school grounds, the entire school formed a Leavers’ Arch, cheering and applauding you on your way. It was a moving reminder that you will always be part of the KA Gomer family.

Year 6, you have left your mark on our school in so many ways. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Best of luck, Year 6.
